A to Z: F is for the Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman Trilogy

6 Apr

F is for the three books in Pamela Aidan’s Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman series.  My mom and I both loved these books when we first read them.  I have never really been a fan or follower of fan fiction (much to the chagrin of my sister who writes it), but Aidan writes Darcy’s perspective so well—with so much colour, accuracy, and humour—that you can’t help but wish that Jane Austen had the exact same thing in mind when she created her iconic character.  If you haven’t read this series yet, and you’re an Austenphile, you must give this a shot!

What do you think of this trilogy?  Isn’t Fletcher just the loveliest?  I can only imagine how much fun he and Darcy have bantering day in and day out.
